Mustang Trekking 2010

Difficulty:

Strenuous trekking to altitudes predominantly above 4,000 m/13,000 ft. with excursions and pass crossings of between 5,000 m/16,000 ft and 6000 m/19,200 ft. Pre-trek training is essential. You need to be very fit for these tours, be familiar with mountain walking, be capable of carrying a backpack, and possess a fair degree of stamina.

Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Alt. 1,350m. / 4,428 ft.
Day 02 - Half day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. Rest of the day preparation for the trek.
Day 03 - Drive to Pokhara by bus & then overnight stay at Hotel Alt. 820m / 2690 ft. (6 hrs).
Day 04 - Fly to Jomsom & then trek - Kagbeni Alt. 2810m /9217ft. (4.5 hrs.)
Day 05 - Trek to Chele Alt. 3000m /9840ft. (6 hrs).
Day 06 - Trek to Ghiling Alt. 3500m /11480. (6 hrs).
Day 07 - Trek to Tsarang Alt. 3500m /11480. (5 hrs).
Day 08 - Trek to Lo Manthang Alt. 3700m /12136ft. (5 hrs).
Day 09 - Explore two days in Lo Manthang - Alt. 3700m /12136ft.
Day 10 - Explore two days in Lo Manthang - Alt. 3700m /12136ft.
Day 11 - Trek to Ghami Alt. 3460m /11349ft. (6 hrs).
Day 12 - Trek to Samar Alt. 3300m /10824ft. (6 hrs).
