Nepal offers On-Arrival Visa to tourists that can easily be obtained upon arrival at its international airports or land entry points.

Tourists can stay for a maximum of 150 days in a visa year (Jan 1 to Dec 31). Extending the visa for a minimum of 15 days cost US$3 per day, i.e., US$45.

A foreign national visiting Nepal is allowed to bring in US$5000 or equivalent amount in any other convertible currencies. However, amount greater than that must be compulsorily declared at the Customs Office at the entry point.
Money Exchange counters are available at Tribhuvan International Airport.
All baggage must be declared and cleared through the customs on arrival at the entry point. Passengers arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) without any dutiable goods can proceed through the Green Channel for quick clearance without a baggage check. If you are carrying dutiable articles, you have to pass through the Red Channel for detailed customs clearance.
