Family Adventure Tour caters to families who wish to enjoy holidays in Nepal with their close relatives and family members in a private way. This itinerary offers you a combination of art and culture in Kathmandu valley, warm hospitality of the Newari community in Bandipur Village and  finest wildlife safari  at Chitwan National Park. Families will be able to learn about the rich culture, history and heritage of Nepal, interact with locals and participate directly in local festivals.

Bandipur

Bandipur is a hilly town situated in Tanahun district, between Kathmandu and Pokhara. Once a vibrant trade route stop between Nepal and Tibet, Bandipur has been revitalized as the next go-to destination in Nepal’s tourism map. Bandipur is popular for Newari art and culture, Siddha Cave, Thani Mai Temple, Khadga Devi Temple as well as splendid views of Himalayan peaks including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Langtang ranges. There is now a direct cable card ride that takes you from Dumre to Bandipur along with a five start hotel for luxury stay.

Chitwan National Park

Nepal’s oldest conservation area, Chitwan National Park is home to one-horned Rhino, Asian Elephant, Bengal Tiger, Himalayan Black Bear and over 600 various species of birds. Jungle safari, nature walk, bird watching, Gharial Crocodile and Elephant breeding care center, canoe ride and Tharu village tour and cultural performance are some tourist attractions here.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Kathmandu

Welcomed by a Trek Nepal representative and transferred to hotel. In the evening, pre-trip briefing at Trek Nepal’s sales office. If time allows visit the renowned Monkey Temple.

Day 2Full Day Sightseeing

Full Day Sightseeing includes visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square & Bhaktapur Durbar Square, all of which have been recognized as world heritage sites.

Day 3Drive to Bandipur and sightseeing

Enjoy morning drive from Kathmandu to Bandipur. Developed as a trading town between Kathmandu and Terai, Bandipur has recently developed as a tourist town famous for Newari and Magar art and cuisine and beautiful panorama of Himalayan peaks.

Day 4Sunrise over the Manaslu

With magnificent sunrise over the Manaslu, Annapurna & Dhaulagiri Himalayan Ranges, we have breakfast and then drive to Pokhara and sightseeing

Day 5Drive to Naudanda and then hike to the Australian Camp. Alt. 1980m, 2 hours hike

Day 6:Hike down to Dhampus Phedi and then drive back to Pokhara for late lunch. 3 hours hike

Day 7:After breakfast drive to Palpa – Tansen (3 – 4 hours), free day to explore the city.

Day 9 & 10:After breakfast, drive to Chitwan (4 hours). Jungle Safari 2 nights 3 days

Enjoy half a day drive from Lumbini to Chitwan. Chitwan is home to Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s oldest protected area that is famous for the conservation of one-horned Rhinos, Asian Elephants and Royal Bengal Tigers. Bird watching, canoe ride on Rapti River, Tharu culture and village tour, Gharial crocodile and Elephant breeding center are other activities you can engage in.

Day 11:Morning bird watching, breakfast in the hotel and then we drive to Bharatpur to fly back to Kathmandu (15 minutes flight)
